Generally you know when it's time to resign. When last I did it I found I'd made exactly the right decision even though there was that strange sense of uncertainty as I handed over the letter.
I've been thinking about it for a long time. The emotional blackmail has already started with a vengeance – thus confirming the fact that I’ve made the right decision!
